Goddess Cabinet (1 of 19)
This piece is 8 feet high by 5 feet wide and 18 inches deep. The 2 doors on the front of the piece open and the inside is a bookcase.
Ringing a bell activated this piece causing the door in the pubic area to open and a Madonna figure comes out. At the same time the main face of the piece reverses and an illusory holographic face appears. Behind the above glass magnifying glass is a lighted owls face.
From certain positions in the room all that is seen is one large eye of the owl. There are several lights and 2 hidden chambers containing skulls. The skirt of the piece is made of unraveled hemp rope. There are lights throughout.
