Peace (4 of 19)
By ringing the bell on the left of this piece the door with the face carved on it pops open and a dove holding an olive branch comes out of the hidden compartment. There is a small heart chamber with a copper door on this piece. By turning the knob and opening the small door, a small Tibetan deity appears and does a comical little dance to music from a music box. Lower/center on the piece is another knob. Turning the knob dispenses red-hots, (candy) which come out of a little door in what would be the pubic area of the Being. There is a blue light in the glass belly of the piece and one cast iron claw foot below. |
